Four new Youth sides at Victory Road

Leiston Football Club are delighted to announce an exciting new link with four new Youth teams for the forthcoming season. The three remaining teams that were formally SKY FC (Sizewell and Knodishall Football Club) have joined Leiston Football Club and will now play their football under the guidance and leadership of a new Youth section based at Victory Road. The three age groups for the new season will be Under 10, Under 12 and Under 15 and the Managers and Coaches, who were a big part of the development of these age groups, will continue to take charge of the teams.

Leiston Football Club Chairman Andy Crisp said the following on this exciting news;

"This is great news for the club and we have been working very hard for many months to achieve a very good set up that will further strengthen our Youth section. We are also delighted to announce that Trevor Cady (Chairman) Laura & Stephen Barker (Secretaries) Bev Kemp (new Treasurer) and other Committee members formerly involved with these sides at SKY FC will continue with their roles and form part of a new committee at Leiston Football Club. In addition we are also pleased to announce a return to the Eastern Junior Alliance with an Under 15 side on Sunday afternoons. Four very good age groups that will help enhance player development.

We are extremely excited by these latest developments and we look forward to working with some of the best youth players in the area in a hope to further develop our club with a structure to help support our Senior teams for the future. We are still working very hard to form an Academy for the future and we feel this will strengthen our opportunity to achieve this moving forward. A warm welcome awaits all the players, officials and families of these teams and hope the majority of you will join us at our Annual General Meeting at the LTAA on Saturday, July 1st at 2pm."
