Leiston will play Felixstowe & Walton United in the final of this season’s Suffolk Premier Cup after the ‘Seasiders’ defeated Stowmarket Town 3-0 at Hadleigh United FC on Tuesday night. Goals from ex Blues player Joe Francis and a brace from Liam Hilliyard earned them the win. It will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides since March 2011, when Leiston won 2-0 at Victory Road on their way to the Ridgeons Premier Division title.

Felixstowe have beaten Long Melford, Woodbridge Town, Hadleigh United and now Stowmarket Town to reach the final while Leiston have beaten Haverhill Rovers, Lowestoft Town and Ipswich Town.

The match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 8 May at Portman Road.
