As pre-season edges nearer, the ground has been having a bit of a make over during the close season.
Additional drainage was put in a couple of weeks ago in certain areas with the pitch also undergoing some work and they have now both been completed.
The club would like to thank those involved in carrying out them tasks and also to the volunteers who gave up there time to remove the old perimeter fence, taking the goals down and dismantle the old dug outs at the end of the season. It is much appreciated. The work on the new fence has started already and is looking good.
The new dugouts are due to arrive this week and will be positioned once the perimeter fencing has been completed.
A big thanks as well to those who helped stripped the changing rooms and painting will now commence in both home and away changing rooms.
Finally painting on the steel work on the stand is due to commence in the coming days.
