Joe Jefford made his 400th club appearance against rivals Lowestoft Town on New Years Day. Joe performed well along with the other starting XI and subs as the Blues won 2-1. In his 400 appearances, Joe has netted 45 times.

He made his debut at Waltham Abbey in a 3-3 draw on the opening day of the season in August 2011. Joe went on to play in every league match that season and scored 2 goals in the final game of the campaign as Leiston beat Potters Bar Town 2-0 that helped Leiston win the Ryman One North title.

He was also part of the team that won the Suffolk Premier Cup in 2018 at Portman Road, as Leiston beat Bury Town 3-0.
