The Blues host St Ives Town this afternoon in another Saturday home league match at Victory Road. Leiston reached a second successive Suffolk Premier Cup final on Wednesday evening defeating Ipswich Town 2-1 and will head to Portman Road again in May. Stuart Boardley and David Head will be without Patrick Brothers, Dominic Docherty and Matt Blake (all injured) for the game while George Keys and Tom Bullard are suspended. Byron Lawrence is unavailable and Will Davies is rated at 50/50.

Leiston sit in 11th place currently while St Ives Town are in 14th position, with Leiston two points better off and having two games in hand on today’s visitors. Earlier in the season, goals from Christy Finch and Cemal Ramadan helped the Blues to a 2-0 win under caretaker manager at the time, Ian Cornforth. St Ives Town have won two of their last three games, but lost at home to Barwell 2-1 last Saturday.

Leiston welcome Stratford Town to Victory Road on Tuesday night before heading to Halesowen Town next Saturday and host Kettering Town in two weeks time.
