The Under 23’s recorded a fine 6-1 away victory at Norwich CBS to lift themselves back out of the relegation places and up to eighteenth position. They were two goals to the good by the interval as late goals in the half from Charlie Atkin and Mackenzie Travis saw the side end the half strongly. Early in the second half they had doubled their advantage thanks to two further goals from Charlie Atkin whose hattrick came inside just eleven minutes. Late in the game Charlie Atkin added his fourth goal of the afternoon and the fifth for the Under 23’s. Jake Spooner completed the scoring in stoppage time.

The Under 23’s know that two wins from their remaining two games will ensure they finish outside of the bottom three. The first of those games take place on Tuesday, April 23rd at home to Haverhill Rovers. The final league game of the season is at the Watson & Hilhouse Stadium on Saturday, April 27th with FC Parsons Drove the visitors.
