FA confirm the Reserves will remain at Step Six

The Reserves, who finished bottom of the Thurlow Nunn League Division One, have received a reprieve after the FA announced the Step Five and Six League structures for 2017/18. After finishing sixth at the end of 2015/16 the Reserves endured a tough season last season despite some good performances and ended up bottom of Division One in 21st place. But as part of the new FA re-shuffling across Non League, Damian Brown's side will be part of a 21 side Division that will include three new sides. The newly promoted sides are Little Oakley, Norwich United Reserves and Spixworth while Swaffham Town were relegated from the Premier Division and Dereham Town Reserves have left the league. The Premier Division now contains 24 sides and the League's will need to be confirmed at the AGM on Saturday, June 17th.

Further good news for the Reserves is that Lee Hackleton has agreed to join the Reserves as Joint Manager alongside Damian Brown. Lee has a wealth of experience with Cromer Town and Great Yarmouth Town to name but two and his appointment is fantastic news for the club.
