Leiston Football Club has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Press Officer to join its team at Victory Road. The Press Officer shall handle all matters of the media for the club, liasing with various media outlets in a voluntary role. The successful candidate shall ideally have experience in journalism or working towards a career in journalism but while this would be preferred, it is not essential as training could be provided.

The key responsibilities include;

Good written and communication skills
To deal with all media enquiries on behalf of the club
Assist with all club statements, news reports and press releases
Provide First Team match reports for the National media, local press and club website
Keeping up to date with all social media issues that effect the club
Looking at ways at improving the club's media profile
