Blues head to West Midlands to play ‘The Glassboys’

Game 30/42.

The Blues travel to Stourbridge tomorrow trying to build on the recent good performances against Lowestoft Town, AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Alvechurch. Seb Dunbar will return to the squad from suspension and Harry Knights will also come back in to the sixteen. George Keys will start his first match of a 3 game ban after getting a straight red card last weekend against Alvechurch, while Patrick Brothers is still out injured. Josh Hitter will play for the Reserves but Harrison Bacon and Toby Groom will be included in the trip to the West Midlands.

Earlier in the season at Victory Road, goals from Aaron Forde, Luke Benbow and Kaiman Anderson helped Stourbridge to a 3-0 away win. The Blues currently sit in 11th place, having gained 41 points from 29 league matches. Stourbridge are 2nd on 65 points from 33 games. Stourbridge have lost 4 of their last 6 games, but still should easily reach the play-offs.

It’s the start of a busy month for Leiston. After Saturday’s game, they play 6 more league games in March and they also visit Felixstowe & Walton United in the Suffolk Premier Cup semi-final to face Ipswich Town.
