The Blues have completed the signing of striker Christy Finch on a one year deal with a years option. Christy spent the second half of last season at Norwich United after leaving Victory Road in December, where he scored over a dozen goals as the Planters finished seven points outside the play offs in their first season at step four. Christy is of course no stranger to the home faithful after a fine debut season in 2015/2016 saw him end as leading scorer, scoring over 20 goals in his first season at step three.

Manager Glenn Driver said the following on the return of Christy;

"I am looking forward to working with Christy again. His work commitments have changed and I believe with a good pre season, we can get him fit and confident to hit the ground running when the season starts in August. He is one of the best finishers I have seen in training and if we get him working hard Christy will score 20 plus goals for us next season. Confidence is key and we will give him that in abundance."
