Toby Groom made his 100th club appearance for the Reserves on Tuesday evening. Toby becomes the second player to reach the milestone for the Reserves since they started playing Step 6 football, having joined the Thurlow Nunn First Division in 2014. Lewis Bell also made over 100 appearances for the Reserves.
Toby made his debut for the Reserves on the 15th March 2016 away to Dereham Town Reserves as they won 2-1 on the night, just a few days after his 16th birthday. He has been a regular in the side ever since. Toby has netted three times also, opening his account in November 2017 against Whitton United in the Suffolk Senior Cup.
Toby also helped Leiston to win the U18’s league title last season.
Everyone at Leiston FC congratulates Toby on his achievement and hope there are many more appearances to come.
