After a big win in midweek the Under 23's were beaten by a Cornard United side chasing the play offs. The visitors, who beat the Under 23's the previous Saturday 3-2, raced into the lead midway through the first half and this remained the difference at the interval. Nine minutes after half time the visitors doubled their advantage and added to their tally later in the game in the 73rd and 77th minutes. Results elsewhere meant the Under 23's kept outside of the relegation places while Cornard sit outside of the play offs only on goal difference.
