19 year old keeper Charlie Beckwith has signed on once again for the new season at Victory Road.
Charlie impressed for the Blues last season in the League Cup, saving a penalty against Cambridge City in a 1-0 win, keeping out a penalty in a shootout versus Needham Market to help Leiston progress and putting in a man of the match performance against Lowestoft Town as Leiston went down to a 1-0 defeat.
Towards the end of the season, he saved a spot kick against Banbury in a 0-0 draw.
In total so far, Charlie has played 9 games for the Blues.
He has also impressed for the Reserves in recent seasons, making 76 appearances and has played for Leiston U16’s and U18’s.
Everyone at Leiston Football Club congratulates Charlie on his new deal and wishes him well for the coming season.
