The top of the Ryman Premier Division changed hands for a third time this week as Dulwich Hamlet now lead the way as Leiston slipped to third spot following this single goal reverse. Richard Wilkins side, already short of four regulars, also ended the game with ten men after substitute Zehnn Young's late red card. The Suffolk side boasted plenty of possession but failed to force home keeper Rob Tolfrey into a telling save all game. In form Kingstonian started well and Pelayo Pico-Gomez rattled the Leiston post inside three minutes and they kept the visitors penned back for long spells. What turned out to be the winning goal arrived two minutes before the interval and it was one that the visitors hotly disputed. Dan Bennett's free kick to the far post saw Sam Page shove Stuart Boardley to the ground before nodding home from six yards. After the interval Leiston had more purpose but were unable to test the home goal, Jake Taylor blasting the visitors only meaningful effort over the bar. Having lost Patrick Brothers and Christy Finch to injury Leiston ended the game with ten men as substitute Zehnn Young, who had only been on the field nine minutes, was dismissed for a rash challenge two minutes from time.
