As all their play off rivals dropped points Leiston missed the opportunity to close the gap as they were held at relegation threatened Harrow Borough. The hosts, nine points above the drop zone, dictated play for long spells but a resilient Leiston defence ensured neither side picked up all three points. The best opportunity of the game came midway through the first half following a handball offence from Leiston skipper Tom Bullard inside the box. But Blues keeper Ashlee Jones made a smart stop with his legs to keep out Marc Charles-Smith spot kick. As the first half closed Joe Jefford bundled the ball into the Harrow net only for the hosts to be rescued by an offside flag, a decision Leiston contested. Some fine defending from the visitors after the break as last ditch clearances denied Spencer McCall and Harry Newman while Ashlee Jones made a good save to keep out Fejiri Okenabirhie. Leiston substitute Tom Winter almost claimed the win for Richard Wilkins' side but he was thwarted by Harrow keeper Joe McDonnell when clean through.
