Leiston's faint play off hopes remain after they were held on their first ever trip to the Leylands Park. Billy Clark's second half goal cancelling out the hosts first half opener. The visitors were missing skipper Tom Bullard and Gareth Heath and struggled in the opening half falling behind on 20 minutes. Lee Harding's shot finding the net despite the best efforts of Jack Ainsley and Joe Jefford. Leiston's best chance of the half came on the stroke of half time but Leon Ottley-Gooch's close range header was well saved by Josh James from a Patrick Brothers cross. However, once the visitors levelled on 67 minutes they began to exert some pressure on the home side. Billy Clark scoring the goal, a terrific long range effort. Numerous corners and goal mouth scrambles ensued but Leiston couldn't snatch the all important win. They now face Billericay Town at Victory Road today, kick off 3pm.
