The Blues slipped to another disappointing defeat and a second away defeat in three days at Hendon. The visitors got off to the worse possible start conceding after just three minutes. But they battled back well and equalised when Patrick Brothers crossed for Joe Marsden to net his sixth league goal of the season. Early in the second half Chris Henderson missed a great chance to fire the Blues ahead and this was punished midway through the half when Lee scrambled home from a corner. Hendon, who boast an excellent record against the Blues, extended this winning sequence, an eighth win in eleven league games, to hold out for all the points.
