The Blues endured a frustrating afternoon as Staines Town left Victory Road with all the points and with it their first victory over the Blues. In truth it was no more than Staines Town deserved as they forced Jacob Marsden into several telling saves. The winning goal came just before the hour mark when Hippolyte swept home from close range. It was the first time that the Blues had failed to score at home this season.
