Blues end home campaign with defeat and slip out of play off places

The Blues suffered a fifth home defeat this season as two late goals earned Lowestoft Town a Suffolk 'double' over their hosts. In front of a season best attendance (513) there were little clear cut chances during a tight encounter with all the goals in the final minutes. The visitors took an 86th minute lead via a neat Jake Reed finish and three minutes later Nico Cotton converted a penalty after Reed was tripped. Conor Hubble's goal came deep into stoppage time and was too little, too late to salvage anything from the game. The Blues now head to Enfield Town on the final day of the season knowing they must win to ensure a play off place.
