The Blues will be glad to see the back of February after Merstham came from behind with two stunning goals to inflict a fourth successive defeat on Glenn Driver's side in the last month. The Blues, who fortuitously took the lead through an own goal, were then not so fortunate when both Joe Francis and Niko Muir-Merchant hit the woodwork. Merstham levelled with a long range belter from Dean McDonald and early in the second half, Simon Cooper saw Jacob Marsden off his line and his quickly taken 45 yard free kick sailed over the Blues keeper and into the net. Try as they might they just could not break down a hard working Merstham defence as the Blues slipped five points adrift of fifth placed Wingate & Finchley.
