The Blues recorded a third successive victory with an impressive victory over a good Billericay Town side. Glenn Driver's side had to do it the hard way, recovering from an early goal to turn in a commanding display. The visitors went ahead through one of their new signings, Christian Assombalonga after just five minutes but an acrobatic half volley from Matt Blake levelled the game twelve minutes later. It was that man Matt Blake again midway through the second half that nudged the Blues ahead, striking home his 30th goal of the season. Strike partner Niko Muir-Merchant then added a third before a neat finish from Ollie Brown completed the scoring and a solid all round display from the hosts.
