The Blues have been handed a home draw in today's (Monday) Buildbase FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round draw. Wiltshire based Melksham Town will travel to Victory Road on Saturday, November 10th with £4000 on offer for the winners. Like the Blues, Melksham Town are members of the Southern League and play in a League below the Blues in the EVO STIK Southern League Division One where they are currently eleventh after eight League games, winning three, drawing four and losing just once for a side promoted from the Western League last season as runners up. While the Blues were winning at VCD Athletic on Saturday, Melksham were winning 2-1 at Thatcham in the FA Trophy and have also defeated Slimbridge 3-2 in this season's competition. Its also not the first time the Blues have faced a side from Wiltshire in the FA Trophy, two seasons ago the Blues won 1-0 at Chippenham Town on their way to a First Round place.
Due to progress in the FA Trophy, the scheduled League fixture away at St Neots Town will now have to be re-scheduled.
