Blues play off hopes receive set back

The Blues must win both their remaining two games to confirm a first ever play off place after defeat at Kingsmeadow although other results could assist them. Kingstonian, fighting to preserve their Ryman Premier Division status, deservedly claimed all three points as the Blues were second best. The hosts were ahead on four minutes, a lead that was doubled on 58 minutes. Matt Blake pulled a goal back on 61 minutes with our first shot off the afternoon but two further goals sealed the win with a terrific strike from Niko Muir-Merchant in stoppage time a late consolation.
