Former loanee Conor Hubble returns to Victory Road

The Blues are pleased to announce that Conor Hubble has re-signed for the club, going straight into the squad for the visit of Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday. Ex Colchester United Conor will return to Victory Road for a second spell after originally spending several months on loan under the Management of Steve Ball and then Richard Wilkins whilst with Colchester United. Most recently 22 year old Conor has been with fellow Ryman Premier Division Billericay Town.

Blues boss Glenn Driver had this to say on the signing of Conor;

"I am pleased with the signing of Conor as again, we have been able to persuade a talented young player to join our club. As a club, we continue to bring in more quality players at the right age, eager to progress and continue their development at our club. He has a pedigree to learn and continue to develop and is my sort of player. I know he will fit into what is already a good footballing side and we look forward to seeing him display his talent here with us at Leiston. Conor won the Billericay Town Player of the Year last year and also recently won the December Player of the month award with them so I know we have signed a very decent young player."

The club would like to wish Conor all the very best at Victory Road and to also thank Billericay Town for all their assistance in ensuring the necessary documentation was swiftly completed.
