Leiston Football Club are delighted to announce that midfielder Patrick Brothers has signed a new deal with the club. Patrick, who joined the Blues in September 2010, has penned a new two year deal until the end of the 2017/2018 season. The club has been in discussions with Patrick for several weeks and thankfully both parties reached a positive conclusion. Manager Glenn Driver (pictured with Patrick and Chairman Andy Crisp) said the following on the latest signing;

"I'm pleased with the signing of Patrick. He will give us even more balance to the squad. I watched a few games last season and I felt it was very important to keep him with us at Leiston. He has lots of energy and works very hard for the team. Myself and Tony (Kinsella) see Patrick as a very important part of our squad. Being out of contract other clubs had shown an interest so I'm delighted he has chosen to commit to Leiston for a further two years".

Patrick had this to stay on agreeing his new deal;

"I'm really happy that I have re-signed for the club. I have a great relationship with everyone involved. Players, club staff and supporters alike. I'm really looking forward to the new season!"
