Blues left back Seb Dunbar has signed a new two year deal with the Blues

The Blues are delighted to announce that defender Seb Dunbar has agreed a two year contract extension at Victory Road. The former Ipswich Town, Bishop Stortford and Bury Town defender had a solid season in the Blues defence after re-signing in the summer from Bury Town and becomes the second player, after skipper Tom Bullard, to agree a new deal. Blues Manager Richard Wilkins had this to say on Seb extending his deal;

"Seb was a very consistent performer last season and in my opinion the best defensive left back in the Ryman League. He now has to work hard on his offensive side and add more threat in the oppositions final third. He certainly has the attributes to do so and it is great news that he has signed again".

Seb, who celebrates his 24th birthday today (21 May) said the following after signing his new deal;

"I am more than happy to have signed a new two year deal as we have a great bunch of lads at the club with some real quality in the team. We need to add to the squad as we are a little short of numbers and I think if we add the right players in the right areas we could definitely target reaching the play offs next season. The Chairman reassured me that the clubs aim is to reach the play offs and challenge towards the top of the table so hopefully we can have some success in the next two years I'm here".

On behalf of the club we wish Seb continued success at Victory Road.
