The Blues are delighted to announce that striker Christy Finch has signed a contract with the club. After signing for the Blues in the close season Christy has turned in some impressive displays and all parties have agreed a deal until May 2017. After an impressive year last year with Wroxham, the Blues were quick to snap up the Lowestoft based striker in the summer and he has already notched five goals in nine starts although injury has seen him miss the last five games.

Speaking to the Blues on-line Christy said, "I am very happy to have finally signed a contract. I was a bit reluctant to sign (a contract) at the start of the season as I had been messed about previously. But I am very pleased to sign for Leiston and excited with regards to the future and the challenges ahead".

Blues boss Richard Wilkins had this to say to Blues on-line about Christy's contract signing, "Christy is a quality forward who has shown in the first two months he can comfortably play at this level. He has areas to work on but he is a natural goalscorer and to secure his services is a major boost to the club".
