Game eighteen and a first ever meeting against Tooting & Mitcham United. It’s been 35 days since the last League fixture at Victory Road and the Blues will be looking to protect their strong home record that has seen just one defeat this season. The Blues have been suffering a blip of late with regards results collecting just two points from a possible eighteen. At this stage last season we were eight points better off while we are six points worse off than this stage in the 2015/16 season but of course, the season is still yet to reach its halfway stage so plenty to play for.

Tooting & Mitcham United are known as the Terrors and they returned to Step Three after winning Division One (South) last season piping Dorking Wanderers to the title on goal difference. They have struggled with life back at step three sitting third from bottom after amassing 18 points from their 19 games to date and just two victories on their travels at Burgess Hill Town and Tonbridge Angels. But they also suffered narrow defeats at Billericay Town and Dulwich Hamlet so they are, like all clubs, more than capable on their day.

This will be the Blues first home League fixture since the 5-1 mauling against Folkestone Invicta back on 21 October so the side will be keen to get some important League points on the board especially with a very hectic December programme with nine games on the horizon. Blues boss Glenn Driver will be without the suspended Seb Dunbar (one game ban for five bookings) and the still injured Kyle Hammond but will be buoyed by a first win in three on Tuesday against Mildenhall Town and progression to the Suffolk FA Premier Cup Quarter Finals.
