The Reserves produced a stirring second half display to stun fourth placed Halstead Town in an eight goal thriller. Trailing 4-1 at the interval the Reserves scored three times in the final quarter of the match to claim a point. It was Leiston who took an early lead via an Adam Blades penalty but two quick fire goals saw Halstead in front. After a couple of great chances missed for the hosts, Halstead punished the home side with two more goals as the half closed. It looked odds on that the points were heading off to Essex but Harry Knights reduced the arrears and then added his second and the third to jangle the Halstead nerves. It worked, as Armani Schaar's long range effort secured a point for Paul Bugg's side who have now lost just once in five games.
