Reserves suffer home defeat to promotion chasing Coggleshall

The Reserves suffered a three goal defeat to Coggeshall Town, ending the game with nine men. The Essex side led by a single goal at the interval courtesy of ex Blues forward Darren Mills and two goals in quick succession midway through the second half sealed the win. The second goal came via the penalty spot that saw keeper Charlie Beckwith sent off and after a third goal, Ryman Sharman was dismissed late in the game. Coggeshall could clinch promotion on Monday if they beat Wisbech St Mary and Woodbridge Town lose at Diss Town. The Reserves, who battled well throughout the game, travel to Haverhill Borough on Monday with Haverhill clinching promotion if they claim all the points.
