Nick Eyre came through his first appearance since mid September following injury as a strong Reserve side picked up their first League victory since September. The match was switched to the Wardale Williams Stadium to allow continued works to the Blues Victory Road surface and we would like to thank AFC Sudbury for allowing the switch at short notice. The game saw the Blues awarded three penalties that were all converted by three different scorers. Byron Lawrence opened the scoring before Adam Blades converted the first spot kick from twelve yards. Conor Hubble and Joe Marsden also converted penalties before another Joe Marsden goal made it 5-1. AFC Sudbury scored twice in the final quarter to end a thrilling game.
