Changes to the Reserves League for next season

Following the latest changes by the FA across the Non League pyramid, next season the Reserves will be competing in the newly named Division One North of the Thurlow Nunn League. The new League will see a slight reduction from 21 to 20 teams and the FA changes now includes a second League (South Division One) under the Thurlow Nunn League control and this new League sees Braintree Town Reserves, Halstead Town, Holland and Little Oakley switch sideways into it. Joining the Reserves in Division One North will be the relegated trio of Fakenham Town, Haverhill Borough and Ipswich Wanderers while there will also be four newly promoted sides namely Felixstowe & Walton United Reserves, Harleston, Lakenheath and Mulbarton Wanderers. Due to Norwich United’s relegation from the Bostik League (North) their Reserve’ side has now been demoted to Step 7 and into the Anglian Combination Premier Division.

The full 20 team Division One North constitution for 2018/2019 is as follows;

AFC Sudbury Reserves, Cornard United, Debenham LC, Diss Town, Downham Town, Fakenham Town, Felixstowe & Walton United Reserves, Harleston, Haverhill Borough, Ipswich Wanderers, Kings Lynn Town Reserves, Lakenheath, Leiston Reserves, March Town United, Mulbarton Wanderers, Needham Market Reserves, Norwich CBS, Swaffham Town, Team Bury and Wisbech St Mary.
