This was certainly the talking point when me and Tick Tock went to bingo Wednesday afternoon. As they kept calling out the numbers I thought it was the time of the substitutions, no wonder I left with empty pockets unable to even tick off a line.

Tick Tock on the other hand bagged a hamper from a leading supermarket chain in the raffle. By the time we’d got back to Saxmundham on the train we’d polished off half of it.

I said let’s save the rest for Spalding on Saturday but he had already earmarked it for a gift for his auntie Mavis. She's in for a nice surprise on Christmas Day.

Looks like it's back to meal deals then for us on Saturday. Hands up for the festive pig in blankets triple sarnie!

BY the time you read this the World Cup draw may have/or is taking place, and the biggest-ever number of countries will have their names in the big goldfish bowls.

FIFA will have no doubt prepared a show to match all others to roll out the celebs to take part in the draw, a full razzmatazz incoming. Who needs the Oscars when you can have the World Cup draw?

I took a little look at some of the venues, and there are some impressive stadiums set to welcome the world's audience, but I wonder how we'll prepare our working days around the schedule?

As an example, San Francisco is eight hours behind the UK so a 4pm mean a midnight starter for us across the Pond. Will pubs and clubs get extended licences? But what about if they decide on 8pm kick offs, are we all setting our alarms for the 4am start?

I’ll watch the draw with excitement but not sure if I’ll be that keen to get up in the early hours to watch games.

Tick Tock has told me he's saving up to to Stateside...Yep! We'll see.
