The U23’s are in action on Tuesday night as they head to Old Newton United in the SIL Premier Division, who won the league last season (6.30pm kick off).

The first team have three big home pre-season fixtures. An Ipswich Town U21 side visit Victory Road this Saturday, while Step 3 teams, Aveley and Billericay Town are the visitors on July 19 and 26 to Victory Road.

The Blues start their 2025/2026 campaign on Saturday 9th August in the Pitching In Southern League Central Premier.

Meanwhile, the U23’s pre-season schedule sees one home fixture, against Saxmundham Sports on July 22.

The first three league games for the Blues U23’s have already been released in the Thurlow Nunn First Division North.

Neil Smye’s side head to Cambridgeshire to face Whittlesey Athletic on the opening day of the season on Saturday 26th July (3pm kick off).

They then play two home games in a row. On Tuesday 29th July, Gorleston Reserves visit Suffolk (7.45pm kick off), before FC Clacton head to the Watson & Hilhouse Stadium on Saturday 2nd August (3pm kick off).
