The Blues lost their first game of 2025 in Shropshire this afternoon as they went down 3-1 at AFC Telford United.
Matthew Stenson put the hosts ahead after five minutes while Maxwell Brogan’s spectacular goal after 38 minutes doubled Telford’s lead.
Adam Mills scored from close range on 43 minutes to give Leiston a lifeline but Stenson netted his second on 54 minutes to once again give the home side a two goal cushion.
Thanks to the Blues supporters who made the 400 mile round trip this afternoon to Telford, in front of a crown of over 1,000.
Leiston host Kettering Town in their next match next weekend (3pm kick off).
