The Blues won 4-2 on Friday evening in Essex as they beat fellow Step 3 team, Aveley.

Leiston led 3-1 at the break as a brace from Willie Clemons and a goal from a Leiston Trialist put Chris Wigger’s men in control against the Isthmian Premier Division side.

After the interval, Adam Mills netted whilst the home team also added another goal to their tally.

Leiston head to Norwich on Tuesday night to play Dereham Town at The Nest in their third match of pre-season, kick off 7.45pm.
