Ben Fowkes was denied by a good save from home custodian Jack Berman late in the first hand while the keeper saved well from Jamar Loza early in the second period.

Albie Armin had a great chance to win the game for Leiston late on while Biggleswade thought they had won it in the final minute of stoppage time but they couldn’t fire home from a goal mouth scramble.
