The Royal British Legion performed the Last Post before the game as both clubs paid their respect to the armed forces who have lost their lives or had been wounded in battle over the last 110 years.

Leiston defended well in the first period and Billy Johnson saved a penalty from James Meddows after Ollie Saunders was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area.

The Blues were better second half but there was to be no break through on the day. Leiston remain 13th in the league.
