The Blues enjoyed an eighth League victory but they were made to fight for all three points against Suffolk rivals AFC Sudbury. After a goal-less first half the Blues took the lead from a cross-cum-shot from Patrick Brothers on 52 minutes. Nine minutes later a stinging drive from Christy Finch doubled the lead. The Blues were almost punished for failing to extend their advantage when James Baker pulled a goal back on 78 minutes and then the visitors laid siege to the home goal but the Blues held firm to secure all the points.
