
The Blues beat 21st Hitchin Town 2-0 this afternoon as they kept a third clean sheet on the bounce.
Jamar Loza and George Quantrell went close for Leiston in the first half before two minutes into the second period, Kyran Clements got to the loose ball first after Cameron Rayworth was denied by Sebastian Stacey.
In the 68th minute, Clements again put home a loose ball after Albie Armin’s strike was deflected into the Blues player’s path.
Leiston withstood some good away pressure late on and Billy Johnson made a couple of good saves as the Blues moved up to 8th.
