The Blues began pre-season on Tuesday evening with an 8-0 win at Walmer Road against Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side, Kirkley & Pakefield.

Playing on the hosts 3G pitch, the Blues netted five first half goals thanks to a brace from Adam Marriott (one penalty), Stan Horne, Fraser Alexander and a trialist.

After the break, Leiston made ten changes in the outfield positions, with another trialist also finding the net with Ollie Long and Willie Clemons getting on the scoresheet.
