
Leiston U18s won 8-1 this evening in the FA Youth Cup at home against Mildenhall Town to reach the First Round Qualifying stage.
The Blues scored two goals in the first five minutes through Stan Horne while Jack McLeavy added a third on 26 minutes.
A deflected free kick two minutes later saw Mildenhall Town pull a goal back and that’s the way it stayed until the break.
Six minutes after the interval, Josh Shanks added a fourth before Horne got his hat-trick in the 57th minute. Two goals in two minutes from Connor Crane and Ashton Rayworth made it seven while the scoring was competed in the 83rd minute from substitute Will Hart.

The win means Leiston take their place in the next round, with the draw expected to take place on Friday afternoon.
