THE Blues U23s game with Coplestonians at home on Tuesday night was abandoned after 65 minutes due to injury to a Coplestonians player.

Neil Smye’s side led 2-0 early on thanks to a brace from Ollie Long (7 and 12 mins) and the Blues U23s continued to play well before the unfortunate injury to away player Ross Turner.

Everyone at LFC wishes the ‘Cops player all the best in his recovery.

The Blues U23s now host Kirton Athletic on Saturday afternoon (2.30pm kick off) in their next game.
