Lee Harrison’s Under 18 side fought back to get a 2-2 home draw on Tuesday night in the Thurlow Nunn Youth League Central Division with AFC Sudbury.

AFC Sudbury took the lead in first half stoppage time and added a second two minutes into the second period.

But Ollie Long pulled a goal back on 53 minutes before adding a second on 75 minutes after a good team move.

In stoppage time, Long missed the target from close range before with the final kick of the match, Long hit the post.

Thanks to the Blues supporters tonight, who turned up in front of a crowd of 58.

Leiston now don’t play until Monday, 20th April when they play Needham Market in the Veo Suffolk Boys Under 18 Midweek Cup Final at Felixstowe & Walton United FC (7.45pm kick off).
