Neil Smye’s side came back from 3-1 down to win 6-4 on a pulsating afternoon at The Flannery Stadium.
Leiston took the lead after just three minutes when Jude Frostick’s shot was deflected into the net but the away side then scored three goals in the space of five minutes.
First, Corey Kingston’s shot looped over Jack Beresford in the home goal in the sixth minute before Harrison Taylor’s free kick just outside the box found the net in the 9th minute.
And, just sixty seconds later, the visitors added a third with a good strike from long range by Harry Wallace.
But, Leiston rallied and brought some good saves from away keeper Adam Coates, and pulled another goal back when Frostick netted from close range on 34 minutes.
The game was levelled on 40 minutes as Cameron Rayworth headed home Ben Batho’s corner.
Frostick headed Leiston ahead on 57 minutes and then prodded home in the 71st minute, before Harrison Taylor reduce arrears on 75 minutes, converting a penalty after Rayworth fouled in the box.
Leiston continued to create chances but with FC Parson Drove forcing a corner in stoppage time, the Blues broke upfield and Frostick put a ball into an empty net from thirty yards to net a fifth in the 94th minute.
Leiston are in action on Tuesday night when they host Norfolk side Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers in league action.
