
THE Blues drew 2-2 at Brentwood Town this afternoon in the Second Round Qualifying of the Emirates FA Cup.
Leiston went a goal up after just six minutes as Ismael Fatadjo’s cross was turned in by Toby Stevenson. The home defender though made up for his own goal on the half hour mark as he rifled home into Billy Johnson’s roof of the net.
In the second period, Jamar Loza put Leiston back in the lead on 59 minutes and Melvin Minter made some good saves before the hosts levelled again on 89 minutes when Lee Noble scored inside the box to gain a replay for the Essex side.

Leiston will now host Brentwood Town on Tuesday night in Suffolk (7.45pm kick off) in the replay. The Third Round Qualifying draw will take place at 1pm on Monday afternoon.
Today’s draw in the FA Cup means Tuesday’s game in the Suffolk Premier Cup First Round at Bury Town will be have to be re-arranged at a later date.
