TWO of Leiston's 'rocks at the back', Kyle Callan McFadden and Eddie Jackson will be back with the Blues for the coming season.

McFadden enjoyed a fine debut season with Leiston last campaign playing 41 games in all competitions and netting one goal, while Jackson played 45 games, netting four goals. He was also voted Blues fans' player of the season.

It means Chris Wigger has retained the vast majority of last season's squad as the new season comes into view. Pre-season games have already been announced, with the Southern League Premier Division Central season starting on Saturday, August 8.
