LEISTON fans have been given a big boost with the news Supporters’ Player of the Year, Eddie Jackson, has signed a new two-year deal with the Club.
Jackson, 22, had a terrific season for the Blues last campaign, with a string of fine defensive performances that saw his popularity rise with the Victory Road faithful.
And while Blues fans will be delighted with the news, Jackson himself is equally as happy.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be committing to two more years at Leiston,” he said.
“The Club means a great deal to me, from the players to the staff, to the supporters, I truly love everything about it.
“I’m settled here and excited to continue to build on my appearances and hopefully to help create silverware moments that we will all remember for a lifetime.”

Jackson was named Supporters’ Player of the Year last month, something that clearly resonated with him.
“That award meant a great deal,” he said. “I’ve always tried to get on with fans off the pitch, but I know it’s ultimately what happens on it that matters most. But to be appreciated by supporters who watch me week in, week out, is very special.”
At just 22, Jackson is just shy of 100 appearances for the Blues in two seasons since joining at the start of the 2023/24 campaign.
“Next season, I’m eager to keep building relationships with our fans and to give them more moments to be proud of, alongside the rest of the squad.
“Silverware is firmly on all our minds, and we’re determined to push towards that goal.”
