Leiston Under 23’s defeated Henley Athletic 1-0 on Saturday afternoon to cap a great three days with their second win in as many games.

Ollie Long’s great strike on the half hour mark, his fourth goal in two games, helped Neil Smye’s side to the win over a Henley Athletic side who had won their opening two games and who started the day top of the table.

Leiston Under 23’s welcome reigning Suffolk & Ipswich League Premier Division champions Coplestonians to the Flannery Stadium on Tuesday night in their next game, kick off 7.30pm.
