LEISTON Football Club are thrilled to announce the re-naming of their stadium.
In a multi-season deal, the Blues’ Victory Road ground is to be renamed the Flannery Stadium, as the club joins forces in a new naming rights partnership with UK plant hire company, Flannery.
“It’s a fantastic partnership for us and Flannery,” Blues chairman Andy Crisp said.
“Flannery are a top UK business in their sector, have a passion for being involved in the local community and are already exploring exciting opportunities for them, and us, going forwards.
“I would like to thank Patrick and everyone at Flannery for their support. These are exciting times for the football club, and Flannery.”
Flannery are not only leaders in the UK plant hire sector but are also recognised nationally for their commitment to skills and training. Flannery holds a national DfE contract with the government to deliver the highest-quality Plant Operator training across the country upskilling 700 plant operators per year, strengthening opportunities for people in the region to build rewarding careers in construction.
Flannery’s Patrick O’Leary said: “It’s a great opportunity for us to be involved at Leiston FC, their accomplishments already, and what their plans are.
“It’s an exciting partnership being in and around Leiston and being involved in the community. The stadium itself is impressive, the pitch, the set-up is so professional. Everything about the club is right and we are excited to be part of it.”
